Acceptable Use Policy
1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all use of the Service. Violations may result in throttling, suspension, or termination, with or without prior notice depending on severity.
2. Prohibited content
You may not store, generate, transmit, or share via the Service any content that:
- Violates applicable law (including but not limited to: child sexual abuse material, content infringing intellectual property rights you don't hold, content illegal in the jurisdiction where it's accessed).
- Promotes or facilitates violence, harassment, or threats against individuals or groups.
- Doxes individuals (publishes private personal information without consent).
- Contains malware, exploits, phishing payloads, or instructions for unauthorized access to systems.
- Is sexually explicit or pornographic in nature.
- Knowingly contains false claims that could cause material harm (defamation, fraudulent inducements, market manipulation, public-health misinformation).
3. Prohibited activity
- Attempting to circumvent rate limits, plan capacities, authentication, authorization, or quota enforcement.
- Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of any sensemakingwith.ai system without prior written authorization (see /responsible-disclosure).
- Using the Service to send unsolicited bulk messages (spam) of any kind.
- Using the Service to mine cryptocurrency, run distributed compute jobs, or otherwise consume resources unrelated to the Service's stated purpose.
- Reselling, sublicensing, or relabelling the Service without express written authorization.
- Using automated means to scrape data at a scale or pattern inconsistent with normal user behavior.
4. Fair use
Every plan has real, published limits. Even generous caps assume normal use — we reserve the right to review and apply rate limits, throttling, or account review where activity is an order of magnitude beyond typical patterns or where it degrades service quality for other users.
5. Reporting violations
To report AUP violations, email abuse-reports@sensemakingwith.ai with the URL or share token, a description of the violation, and the date/time observed.
6. Enforcement
We may take any of the following actions in response to AUP violations: warning, throttling, content removal, account suspension, account termination, and reporting to law enforcement where required by law. We aim to provide notice when reasonable but reserve the right to act immediately for severe violations or where notice would impede investigation.
